What is the thing that's been most surprising about being a mom?
The thing that surprised me the most is how much I could love. The unconditional love for her is amazing. As crazy as it sounds I never knew I could love like I love her. One kiss or hug from her can make my entire week!
What child gear could you not live without?
When Ivy was younger I could not live without a paci. She would scream and cry a lot as a baby and that helped a ton! Now that she is older that's changed, thank goodness!
If you could wake up with a super power, what would it be?
I wish I could wake up with a super power of being able to not have to sleep or be tired!
Is there anything your child takes so seriously that you must not laugh about it?
There isn't much I can't laugh about. Ivy loves to laugh and so do I!
How has being a mom changed your personal style?
I have to think about hair color, clothes, and the way I carry myself. I can't be too crazy with my hair or clothes because I am a mom and want to be a good example to her and look like a responsible mom to others. I would love to have blue hair though!! Hah-ha!
What does your child do that brings you to the brink? How do you recover from it?
Somedays Ivy is very fussy and doesn't listen. I find myself I stressed and getting mad at her but then remember doing that only makes her feel the same way. I have to just give her love when she needs it and that always helps me be happier with every situation!
What secrets do you keep from your kid?
Ivy isn't old enough to really keep secrets other than telling her the candy/sweets are all gone when she wants more, hah ha!
