What is a lifestyle photo shoot?
Good question! Lifestyle photographs capture the child in their everyday life (typically your own home). They are meant to be fun and really catch the child's personality. They are not a perfectly styled portrait. But we can still give you style advice on how to make sure you have a good shoot. We offer these sessions for children up to 12 years old.
Is the session a set price?
Yep! All children's lifestyle sessions are $595.
How long will the shoot last?
1 hour.
How many images will I get?
You will get 60 images, presented in a digital format with in 10 business days. You'll have the rights to these files.
Will mom and dad be included in the photos?
We highly encourage mom and/or dad to take an active role in the shoot.
How many outfits should I have prepared for the shoot?
We suggest 2-3 play outfits for the child, so you get some varied shots.
What if I have several children?
You can choose to focus on one child during your session or your whole family. It's a great way to capture sweet sibling moments. *The sibling photos will be lifestyle in nature, and not styled family portraits.
How and when do I pay for the session?
You pay when you book the date. We accept check or credit.
Do you offer maternity sessions or family portraits?
Yes, we offer lifestyle sessions for maternity as well as children, ages 0-12.

A lifestyle session is in the moment, simple, charming... enter Charming Child. A styled portrait we plan every detail ahead; clothing, location, styling, even a house call to measure for your future photos and choose color palettes.
