What is the thing that's been most surprising about being a mom?
How much you can love your kids and how they teach me and make me a better person.
What child gear could you not live without?
Leggings…my girls live in them. So comfy! When fall rolls around … it's our go to for pants.
What activities did you take for granted before kids, that now feels rare and special?
If I get a chance to go grocery shopping, grab a coffee or pop into a boutique by myself it's a treat. It's the small things.
When was the last time your child made you tear up with joy?
Teared up with joy yesterday when my son's 2nd grade teacher said how he wanted to share his paragraph on where would you live, Urban or rural? with his classmates. His teacher get's so emotionally involved with the classmates... it's contagious. It's seeing the little successes that make me proud of them.
How has being a mom changed your personal style?
I say my personal style hasn't changed much with having kids. It's probably evolved. Fashion has been a way to express myself and it makes me feel good to be creative with style.
What do you wish you could do better?
I wish I had more patience, could live in the moment and not worry so much. It's a work in progress. "Carpe diem"!
P.S. We know you love this little black and white tent as much as we do, so here's a link to find one of your own.
